Jeg sitter her i skolebiblioteket pa min skole i Terrebonne Parish i USA, jeg tenker tilbake pa ting som har hendt og her kommer en liten oppdaterelse(er det et ord?). Som sikkert noen av dere husker sa kom vennen min Casey i en ulykke hvor han rasskjorte en svart person, uten sertifikat, heldigvis oppdaget ikke den dumme snuten at han ikke hadde det. Uansett det var bare en liten bumb med ingen skade pa bil eller person, forrige fredag fant jeg ut at Casey har blitt saksokt for 10.000$ for skader pa bil og person. Grunnen jeg nemte personens hudfarge var fordi at nar min vertsmor fikk hore om hendelsen sa hun, "Han kommer til a bli saksokt, hun var svart." masse rasist dritt etter det, vel hun var rett. Noe som kommer som en liten trost for mitt rasist fri hode var at Casey sa at han ville gjort akkurat det samme, "Penger er penger", forklarte han, noe som er bra siden jeg trodde penger var toalettpapir.
Alreit det var alt jeg hadde tid for denne gangen ma ga til lareren min og prove a forhindre a bli utvist pga for mange abstinente(det ma vare et bedre ord) dager.
Tjolahei og kjarlighet til alle mine bekjente i det landet som na virket sa langt borte.
I dag skal jeg ta dere eller kanskje en person tilbake til tiden rett etter rita, den andre orkanen som oversvomte hjemmet vart.
Powerless
Upon my departure from Norway I was completely unknown with the annihilating forces of nature that would occur around me during my visit to Lousiana, I might have been excited about the possibility of high paced winds flowing fiercely around me. I have always dreamt of winds strong enough to lift me off the ground. Though before devastation and destruction for a short period I did get to play football (soccer) during heavy rainfall and strong winds which disturbed the movement and amount of control I had over the football making it challenging and interesting.
Later that evening when I was laying in my bed watching TV, free of concern and worry, I heard sirens outside; it was the police evacuating all the residents of my neighborhood. In a brief hour we had packed all our important possessions and took off, at this time my mind wasn’t so much thinking as reacting.
We stayed at different homes during and after the storm, mostly in a mobile home with over 10 temporary residents. It was a new experience I have never lived in a space so condensed with so many other people.
After a several days of watching TV, seeing pictures of flooded houses near our home, we drove towards our house; we were stopped by the water about a mile from our house, we had to work our way through the water, the most utterly disgusting water I’ve ever been in. Walking through the streets of Chauvin reminded me very much of Venice, Italy, without all the pigeons. Rambling through the destruction of Poseidon, I spotted t

he house surrounded by a lake which I quickly named Lake Vegar; luckily this lake diminished during the next few days but the stench did not. Although the water did not reach into the house when we stepped inside we found several puddles of water on the floor. After inspecting the house which, I stepped out on the back porch, looking out over the vast amounts of water I realized that I have never felt as powerless as I did then.

Dette var en stil som lareren min fikk meg til a skrive, men jeg nevnte ikke den beste delen. Etter at vi gikk ut pa verandaen oppdaget vertsfaren min et beltedyr og etter mye klbb og babb klarte han a drepe dyret, med en spade, alreite tider alsa.
Oi, m8 bare forklare noe som hendte her om dagen, vi fikk tilbake vare Midterm, hahaha jeg slo amerikanerne i Amerikansk historie, jeg var den eneste i min klasse av over 40 studenter med en A, hahahahahahaha, nok med den anti amerikanske praten ser dere senere...
Jeg har helt sikkert mott en sioux, men kunne ikke peke en ut, det er sa mange indianere her, eller native americans, som man skal si her borte. Har enna ikke sett en indianer lete etter spor eller fange bison, men det kommer nok til skje snart. Jeg motte en jode her om dagen, eller en stund siden, faktisk.
HUsker du situasjonen nar Casey krasjet noen i stumpen? Rett etter at purken ikke merka at Casey ikke hadde forerkort dro vi til Starbucks for og mote Aarence, men der var det mange folk, inni blant alle de fremmede var det en jode, han hadde en skjec nese, og snakket kun ob bling blingen sin, eller i hans ord "Jewbling".
Noe **** hendte her om dagen, positivt **** faktisk, jeg stakk til walmart med Casey, Blake, Aarence, Jo-z og Chris. Blake, Jo-z og Chris var hoye, pa pot, morsomt, Jo-z er tilbake pa kjoret igjen, men han er like idiotisk og morsom som for, kanskje enda litt mer.
høres ut som ett morsomt lite entourage du har skaffa deg der ja. Skulle likt å sett dere. Du får ikke tatt noen digitale bilder du kan dele da? Og hvorfor i all verden finner vi ikke den lille byen din på google earth?? jeg tror ikke vi kan ha fått adressa di riktig, google earth skal liksom egentlig ha alle adressene i usa...

MANDATORY SCHOOL UNIFORM POLICY
NEW POLICY REPLACES OLD POLICY H-3.4
PHILOSOPHY
The Terrebonne Parish School Board believes that a mandatory school uniform policy will provide a more secure school environment, promote an atmosphere for greater discipline, and increase learning opportunities for students by removing many of the distractions and connotations associated with various types of clothing.
The policy of the School Board shall be that no mode of attire will be considered proper for school wear that distracts from or disrupts classroom and school decorum. The principals of each school will make the final decision as to what is considered proper or improper dress according to the guidelines provided. Any substantial complaint concerning the dress code shall be dealt with by the school administration.
All students attending Terrebonne Parish Schools are required, effective with the 1999-2000 school session, to adhere to the Board’s mandatory uniform policy.
UNIFORMS
Students attending schools in Terrebonne Parish shall be required to wear uniforms to class. Uniforms shall be worn as follows:
Primary School Boys Dress Code (K-3):White shirt (oxford or knit with collar), uniform navy pants (pleated, not pleated or cuff) or shorts
Middle School Boys Dress Code (4-8):White shirt (oxford or knit with collar), uniform khaki pants (pleated, not pleated or cuff) or shorts
Secondary Level Boys Dress Code (9-12): White shirt (oxford or knit with collar), uniform khaki pants (pleated, not pleated or cuff) or shorts
Primary School Girls Dress Code (K-3): White blouse (oxford, knit, or broadcloth with collar), uniform navy pants (pleated, not pleated or cuff), pleated skirt, shorts, skorts, or jumper
Middle School Girls Dress Code (4-8): White blouse (oxford, knit, or broadcloth with collar), uniform khaki pants (pleated, not pleated or cuff), pleated or straight skirt, shorts, skorts, or jumper
Secondary Level Girls Dress Code (9-12): White blouse (oxford, knit, or broadcloth with collar), uniform khaki pants (pleated, not pleated or cuff), pleated or straight skirt, shorts, skorts, or jumper
Schools may elect a solid color shirt (based upon school colors) to wear along with the white shirts as long as the “oxford or knit with collar” remains the same (no multi colored shirts are allowed). Only the official school logo is allowed on the shirts.
The dress code also allows turtlenecks. Turtlenecks may be worn as follows:
Primary Grades – Turtlenecks shall be white with no monograms, no name brands, and no logos. Turtlenecks do not have to be worn under a uniform shirt or a uniform jumper.
Middle or Secondary Grades – Turtlenecks shall be white with no monograms, no name brands, and no logos. Turtlenecks shall be worn under a uniform shirt or uniform jumper
DEFINITIONS
UNIFORM STYLE PANTS: Depending on the grade of the student, pants must be navy or khaki in color. Khaki pants may be light or dark (no white allowed). Pants may be made up of total cotton or a combination of cotton and polyester: No Jean material will be acceptable. Pants must have a front zipper and buttons/snap/clip closure at the waist. Pants may have partial or full elastic at the waist. Pants must be straight legs. Cargo pants, capri pants, jumpsuits, overalls, or coveralls are not allowed. Pants may be pleated/not pleated, cuffed/not cuffed. If pants have a belt loop, a belt must be worn. Only shorts or full length pants will be allowed. Shorts may not be of a length to extend below the knees and must conform to pants regulations. The small discreet brand name, such as “Dockers”, “Duckhead”, etc. will be permitted.
SHIRTS : Shirts must be oxford, knit, or broadcloth with a collar. Shirts must be short or long sleeved only. Sleeveless shirts are not allowed.
SWEATSHIRTS/SWEATERS: Pullover, long sleeve sweatshirts/sweaters, with ribbed collar, wrist, and waist, black, white, navy, khaki, gray, or the designated school color, possessing no labels, logos, print, or embroidery, except for the official school logo will be permitted. Sweatshirts/sweaters officially sanctioned by the school are acceptable.
DRESS CODE REGULATIONS
1) All students will wear the designated school uniform clothing as outlined in the uniform policy. All clothing must be worn as designed by manufacturer. (No tying outerwear around waist or neck)
2) The wearing of uniforms which are oversized, baggy, sagging, or extremely tight fitting is prohibited.
3) Pants must be hemmed and side slits are not permitted. Pants cannot be made of denim material (jeans).
4) Belts may not be more than one size larger than the waist. All students must wear belts if pants have loops. Waistbands should be worn on waist.
5) Shirts must be worn tucked in at all times. Undergarments must not be visible.
6) Uniform shirt collars must be visible when wearing a sweatshirt/sweaters.
7) All apparel in grades 4-12 must be no shorter that five inches (5”) from the floor when kneeling.
8) Footwear must be worn to school, and students are encouraged to wear socks. Students wearing shorts, skirts or skorts must wear socks which are either white, black, khaki, navy, gray, or the designated school color.
9) Slippers, sandals, backless shoes, or flip-flops are not acceptable.
10) Body piercing (except for the ears) that is visible will be prohibited. (Example: nose, lips, tongue, eyebrows, etc.)
11) Students will not be allowed to wear ornate or cumbersome jewelry.
12) Optional: The name and/or logo of the school may be professionally sewn/printed on any shirt, sweatshirt, or sweater. No other emblem or writing, other than the schools’ name may be on any shirt, sweatshirt, or sweater.
13) New students to the parish will be given two weeks from the date of enrollment to obtain the required uniform.
SPECIAL EVENT DAYS
Special Event days in which students are not required to wear uniforms are permitted if approved by the principal.
HAND-MADE UNIFORMS
Parents/Guardians may obtain patterns for approved uniform style items and hand-make such items.
STUDENT GROOMING REGULATIONS
1. Student’s hair must be groomed in such a manner that it will not draw undue attention.
Unless another hair color inherently occurs, only one natural hair color is allowed (black, brunette, auburn, or blonde – natural or dyed).
2. Faces must be kept neat, both in the case of boys with facial hair or girls with excessive makeup.
3. Basic to the grooming code is a commitment to neat, well-groomed students with personal hygiene and cleanliness being mandatory.
NOTE: For further clarification, in all questions regarding grooming and dress, if the administration decides that the student’s attire or appearance is disruptive of the learning process, or so offensive or suggestive as to distract other students, then the attire or appearance will not be allowed.
GROOM AND DRESS CODE VIOLATIONS CONSEQUENCES
GRADES K-6
FIRST OFFENSE: Record in Gradebook, warned (student should be sent to the office to call home to correct the infraction).
SECOND OFFENSE: Dress code letter sent to parent, an appropriate school consequence, and correction of infraction.

Apropos "The office"... den første episoden av den amerikanske versjonen av "The office" ble vist i går på tv 2. Jeg så på det... jeg har ikke sett så mye av orginalen, men jeg tror ikke det var noe i nærheten av orginalen. Har du sett den amerikanske versjonen?
JEpp har sett, og det suger kakerlakk kuk.. Showet mistet all den stemmningen mellom alle folkene med kun en person som var silly, the forty year old virgin.... Den fyren du veit.. Sjekk den engelsk versjonen den foles virkelig ubehagelig og akkurat som en dokumentar, den amerikanske versjonen har ikke halvt av den stemmningen...
Kom akkurat tilbake fra college, Nicholls state faktisk, er med i noe sa teit som kor, men det er alreit, en skoletime med liten til ingen anstrengelse, sann liker jeg det. Uansett vi motte en fyr kalt TJ som vi kjenner og han lovte at neste det var et frat party, sanne som du ser pa filmer skulle han bringe oss. Haper det skjer, mm.
A joda alkoholikere og gamblere, ey hor pa dette i USA sa er 65 % av den voksende populasjonen overvektig, mens 30% av ungene er overvektige, og her hos meg er det enda verre fordi det er sa varmt at folk ikke vil bevege seg, pluss gourmet mat her borte er bortimot alt som kan bli "deepfried", reker, kjott, lok og gamle sko.

Folk som hater skolen, folk hater virkelig skolen, sa mye at det tar dop i klassen. Har sett to jenter frike ut midt i klasserommet fra piller, har hatt venner som har bringt vodka til skolen, og kjenner folk som har royka hasj pa dassen.
Dassen ja, det er et stygt sted, siden vi ma preservere vann kan vi ikke skylle ned piss, sa de begynner a stinke etter en stund, forestille deg over hundre folk pisse pa samme toalett uten a skylle ned, og folk nyter det a kaste skittent papir overalt.
